‘Read this on repeat’ | My Rooky Book, by Tristam Motteram, illustrated by Sophie Bishop

I can not say enough about how much I enjoy owning this book. “My Rooky Book” is very sweet and funny.

It’s great for people of all ages. Great book for a gift too (teachers of elementary schools your student’s will love this book). Great gift for yourself and others too.

The illustrations are great.

The story and real characters are both endearing and funny.

A charming little book about the real life adventures of Russell Crow that was found by a good Samaritan; Helen. With cute visuals to go with. I purchased this at the author’s book launch, and got to meet the dear corvid in person with much delight.

This for my niece (age 6), for Christmas & she loves to read this on repeat! 🙂

Looking forward to purchase the following books.

Thomas Mulvany, 5 out of 5 stars. Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk.

A lovely book for young children, well written (in rhyme) with excellent illustrations. Having met the star of the book in person this book acts both as celebration and as tribute. Bottom line? My Grandson had it for Christmas and loved it. I read it to him at least twice! Well done Helen and Tristan!

PM SHEPPARD, 5 out of 5 stars. Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk.

Russell was originally thought to be a crow (and that’s how he was given his name!). But, even though Russell’s a rook, he liked the name so much – and Russell Crow stuck! He’s a mischievous bird. He poops on the floor. He steals food. He hides shiny things. But to Russell, she is his Miss Helen. To Helen, he is her Roo. They are family. Come and meet them, in My Rooky Book, starring Russell Crow.
