Rawky: cold, damp, chilly, dull, foggy.


Here’s a word we caught this week. We thought we’d share rawky with you as it perfectly describes the weather in the UK, all year round. Whether it’s winter or summer, it doesn’t matter.

Here’s an example of it in use:

I would go outside today, but I heard the weather was ‘rawky’. If it were cold, no problem, but rawky’s another ballgame entirely!
