Here’s a word we caught this week. We thought we’d share chad with you because it’s just so random. Who’d ever have thought you’d need a specific word for the piece of paper removed by a hole punch or similar device?

Here’s an example of it in use:

Once I’m done filing things away, I like to take the discarded chad from the hole punch and throw it all over the office. It’s a bit like a party!
